Storyline

Every time they land, Azula and her warriors find Aang, Katara, Sokka, and Toph. Toph refuses to help set up camp, claiming she carries her own weight and no one else's. After a fight between Aang, Katara and Toph, Toph storms off angrily. Aang lays a decoy trail for Azula and Sokka, Katara, Appa, and Momo, flee the other direction. Aang waits for Azula and is fighting her when Zuko and Iroh arrive. Soon, Katara, and Sokka come to the fight, too. Just as all hope of winning is lost, Toph arrives and, together, the six attack Azula. Knowing she is beat, Azula shots Iroh with lightning and disappears. Zuko leaves with Iroh and Aang, Katara, Sokka, and Toph leave as well. Toph and Katara apologize to each other and the journey continues. Written by Mistyfoot

perfect episode perfect entertainment

Reviewers are trained not to give 10 scores lightly or else what is the point? So here is the point:

1. Last Airbender is not only the best animated series of all time but also one of the best overall series, period. In other words, it holds its own with live action.

2. It is also better than the Korra series which took forever to build momentum and is way too self conscious.

3. Also better than the abominable live action 2010 movie 4. So when dealing with greatness you need a perfect episode to give a 10. This is one. It has action to spare, characterizations so true you feel you know the players, brilliant animation (check out when the sun shines on Appa after he flies all night) and awesome arc development on par with the best from Team Whedon
