Following a massive announcement by Warner Bros. regarding their slate of DC superhero films out through the end of the decade, Marvel, released their own lineup in a press event today. And now they’ve just released the first TV spot for Agent Carter, a new series inspired by the feature films Captain America: The First Avenger and Captain America: The Winter Soldier, along with the short Marvel One-Shot: Agent Carter. The show stars Hayley Atwell, Dominic Cooper, James D’Arcy, Chad Michael Murray, Enver Gjokai, and Shea Whigham. Agent Carter debuts on ABC in January of 2015. Watch the video below.

Marvel has released a lengthy new synopsis for their upcoming Agent Carter TV series, which is set to premiere this winter in early 2015 while Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is on break. The show stars Hayley Atwell, who reprises her role as the titular SS agent who was seen in Captain America: The First Avenger, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and her own eponymous Marvel One Shot short film.

ABC has issued a press release for their upcoming limited series "Marvel's Agent Carter" scheduled to debut in very early 2015. The release gives us a regular cast and crew list along with an extended official synopsis for the eight-episode series which follows the character of Peggy Carter from the "Captain America" films.
The cast includes Hayley Atwell as Agent Peggy Carter, James D'Arcy as Edwin Jarvis, Chad Michael Murray as Agent Jack Thompson, Enver Gjokaj as Agent Daniel Sousa, Lyndsy Fonseca as Angie Martinelli, Shea Whigham as Chief Roger Dooley and Dominic Cooper as Howard Stark.
Serving as executive producers are the likes of "Resurrection" producers Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas, "Men in Trees" producer Chris Dingess, "Lost" producer Jeph Loeb, "Captain America" film series scribes Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, and Marvel execs Kevin Feige, Louis D'Esposito, Alan Fine, Joe Quesada and the legendary Stan Lee.

Years before Agent Coulson and his S.H.I.E.L.D. team swore to protect those who cannot protect themselves from threats they cannot conceive, there was Agent Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell, Marvel's "Captain America: The First Avenger," Marvel's "Captain America: The Winter Soldier"), who pledged the same oath but lived in a different time when women weren't recognized as being as smart or as tough as their male counterparts.
But no one should ever underestimate Peggy.
NBC has ordered a pilot for a proposed Marley & Me television spinoff.
The family decide to name her Marley after putting their former pet's collar on her, and soon find that she is as rambunctious as her namesake.
Marley & Me will be shot in the single-camera sitcom style, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
No announcements on who will play the roles originated by Wilson and Aniston in the movie have been made yet.
The film was based on a best-selling memoir by John Grogan.

“Hieroglyph,” set in ancient Egypt, earned a 13-episode straight-to-series order from Fox last October. The adventure drama about a thief plucked from prison to serve the Pharaoh was created by scribe Travis Beacham.
