A movie not for everyone

There was a TV show called "Step By Step". It was a pretty funny comedy. I like to watch it, my favorite character in it is Dana Foster who is played by Staci Keanan. I like her very much in the show so I though I should check it out what she was doing lately. This is how I stumbled upon this movie. Boy, was I surprised. This movie tries to discuss big issues like abortion; the only problem is that the church's side is strongly pressed. So this is not a debate type movie. If you want that, watch "The Man From Earth", it will be a lot more interesting. And the characters in this movie... well... let's just say all of them have strong issues. Especially the guys! Except for Gary all of them are either gay or hen-pecked husbands or simply their body doesn't produce enough testosterone to sleep with their girlfriends. So they keep wining because they don't have normal relationships with people and they look for answers in the Bible instead of trying to grow up and face their problems. Boy, am I sorry I did not read the IMDb user comments before I watched this movie, I can't tell you how irritating this 80 minutes were.
