Champak Chaturvedi runs a theatrical troupe in India. He hires two men, Bunty - a graduate in Arts, and Babla- who cannot read nor write English. One has to play the role of the play's hero, while one the villain. Both men end up squabbling with each other, as both want the hero's part. Then Champak finds out that Bunty has molested the play's heroine, Anjali, and punishes him. The group gets a contract to stage 30 plays in Britain, however, on the day of the departure, Anjali opts out, leaving Champak no alternative but to travel without a heroine, but hoping to recruit one while in Britain. Upon arrival, Babla sets about to find a suitable heroine from the Indian population, but Bunty beats him to it and recruits a woman named Munni. Hey Everybody, Well, i guess this is the shortest movie review i have ever posted. Actually kinda busy, But didn't want to miss to review this laugh riot flick by Priya Darshan.
So long was the journey, so long was the wait, finally i got to watch another absolute hilarious movie by Priya Darshan after Hera Pheri 1. On the transit, PriyaDarshan did direct lots of movie including some Box office hits like Hungama, Garam Masala, Maala Maal Weekly etc. But nothing could recreate the magic of Hera Pheri, not even it's sequel Phir Hera Pheri (Which was nothing but a movie loaded with PJ's). But finally PriyaDarshan get's the Bull's eye with a perfect comedy flick "Bhagam Bhag". Trust me guys the first half of the movie was a Kumbh Ka Mela of laughter, while the second half gets serious with kinda manageable suspense. But our Akki Baba keeps the laugh riot get going even in the serious second half of the movie.
And as far as Govinda goes, i thought he would do his usual Overacting, but i got it wrong, even he has done a perfect Riposte on the silver screen. His fans would be really glad welcoming him in such a movie. He along with Akki Baba, Parashu Rawal, Rajpal Yadav and Shakti Kapoor assure you a absolute Rib Tickling, laughter experience with this fun filled movie - "Bhagam Bhag".
I seriously enjoyed watching this movie to my fullest, because it's been quite long since i had such a good laughter in a theater. I'm sure even you would enjoy this movie on the silver screen. Get set to laugh the heart out of you.
