Floris #13 is the Making of Floris
17 October 2006 | by (Netherlands) – See all my reviews

The production of "Floris" had enough problems for a disaster movie, after the whole budget had been spent a couple of times, a "Making of" was produced as the 13th episode. It has been claimed to have been the first "Making of", and indeed the concept was fairly new, as was anything about Floris (at least in the Netherlands) so its title was "Rond Floris (Een Kijkje Achter De Schermen)" (="Around Floris (A Look Backstage)". It shows a relatively young Paul Verhoeven (the man with Verhoeven's voice is really him), young Rutger Hauer, special effects, the horses, the castles, the shooting of the movie, special effects, make-up, that Rutger did his own stunts and more of the general Making-Of stuff.
