Using his art gallery as a front for illegal activity, Alfonzo Parmiasiani, followed by his 2nd in command, Tony "The Suit" Tartagliani, go on a spree of violence and mayhem, the likes of which would make the Godfather cringe. During the mugging in the opening scene someone called the police thinking the actors (J Lublinkhof and Ben Sakatos) were actually assaulting actor Nathan Swanson. When the police arrived the Director of Photography (Alton Chewning) had to wave from the picture car across the street and hold up his camera to convince the officer that they were in fact shooting a staged fight.
