After the Dinobots drowned in the tar pit, the Decepticons continue to plunder the energy sources of the island. Unknown to the Decepticons (not that they would care), as a result of their deeds, time warps appear in various places around the world - from which emerge unwelcome visitors from the past, spreading violence and destruction. The Autobots are busy fixing the damage to the time-flow. Chip Chase finds out that the cause of all troubles is in Dinobot island, and the Autobots hurry there in order to stop the Decepticons, and great battle occurs. When it seems the Decepticons have the upper hand, unpleasant surprise awaits Megatron, for he was overconfident thinking that the Dinobots were destroyed. Written by

Cliffjumper calls the pirate captain "Long John". This is probably reference to the pirate leader Long John Silver, the primary antagonist of the novel Treasure Island. See more
The dinosaurs in this episode are gigantic in size, to such a degree that even the huge Transformers seem to be about human-sized next to them. A Tyrannosaurus even picks up Dirge, a plane-sized robot into its mouth. To do this, it would have to at least be as big as Godzilla. Both the Transformers and the dinosaurs should be about of the same size - especially since some of them turn into robotic dinosaurs themselves. See more
