Did Bobby Flay come up with the premise of this series himself? Watching someone being thrilled thinking they're getting a profile on Food Network only to find out they're just an extra in a Bobby Flay show isn't entertaining, it's cruel. And his "beating" people with dishes he had time to test and prepare when the "competitors" didn't even know they would be "challenged" is perposterous. Note that in the cheese steak episode, the "competitor" was able to create a new dish with the "competition" in mind and won. This series needs to be reworked bigtime. Instead of Bobby Flay "challenging" people, people should write in and "challenge" various Food Network chefs (not just Bobby Flay). Then if they were to lose, at least they were the ones who initiated it.
