Still rocking on the festival circuit
30 August 2006 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Living in the San Francisco Bay area, I get to see a lot of independent films. At last year's Alameda International Film Festival, I caught RIVERSIDE for the first time. Although it was one of several dozen short films that I saw that week, it was one of only a few that really stuck with me. The filmmakers packed so much in 10 minutes, that most of the audience sighed an audible "Wow!" at the film's end.

So, I'm not surprised to see that RIVERSIDE is still competing on the festival circuit this fall, with two upcoming festivals here in CA - THE 2006 OAKLAND INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL and THE 2006 OXNARD INDEPENDENT FILM FESTIVAL. This amazing short film is also screening at upcoming festivals in Estes Park, CO and Concord, NH. If you happen to be at a festival where RIVERSIDE is screening, I recommend you check it out. More short films should be this good.
