The film was writer/director Mike Ott's thesis film for grad school at the California Institute of the Arts.
The shoot was 45 days long, spread over a three month period.
The actress who was originally cast to play the character Molly was fired half way through the shoot; hence all the scenes shot up to that point had to be re-shot once the role was recast.
The character of Jordan, played by Brett L. Tinnes, talks about turning down a scholarship at Cal Arts; stating that, "all the teachers there are assholes." Cal Arts is writer/director Mike Ott alma mater.
