Most of the songs were not bad. Excellent winner!
15 November 2006 | by (Belgium) – See all my reviews

I had high expectations this year for the Eurovision Song Contest in Athens (Greece), because I knew that Finland would send Lordi. A (hard)rock band disguised as monsters. Already before the Eurovision Song Contest I downloaded the song, and I found it great! I knew immediately that they would win! Although I thought the song sounded less good live, but the performance was excellent! But of course that was not the only good song, Belgium (my home country) sent Kate Ryan, a quite well known singer (in Europe). But, unfortunately Belgium didn't pass the semi finals. Before the contest she was tipped as one of the favorites, but, like I said, she didn't pass the semi finals. In general this was a good Eurovision Song Contest. Most of the songs were quite good. And, according to me, Lordi's "Hard Rock Hallelujah" is one of the best Eurovision-entries ever.
