*** This review may contain spoilers ***
There were some exceptional songs in Athens for the excellent Eurovision Song Contest. Then again there were some awful ones.
The great songs included: The Spanish Entry, The Moldovan Entry, The Israeli entry and of course "We are the winners" by Lithuania. We are the winners wasn't the best written of songs, but they should be congratulated for doing something different, like a football chant. Because they had the balls to do something a bit different and enjoyable, they got my vote. The winners Lordi with "Rock Halleluljah" was also a great song
The awful songs were the Latvian entry, the Swiss Entry with the awful song "We must all give a little" and as usual the UK had arguably the worst of the lot with Daz Sampson. Fancy picking a rapper.
Terry Wogan was funny as usual, it was really funny when he kept laughing at the Greek Female presenter because she kept saying "This is amazing". I look forward for the 2007 Song Contest in Findland.
