Episode cast overview:
Amber DeMarco ...

Foreman's state worsens, blind although he didn't even notice it. Cuddy refuses permission to use the infected cop's body, so House can only use pet rat Steve as a lab animal. He orders combined treatment for all kinds of agents. It works but the drugs soon overload his system. The Foreman's medical proxy goes to Cameron rather than Rodney who would blindly follow House. Did You Know?

House: Ooh, Level Three. You should call Jack Bauer. This quote alludes to 24, a drama to which House has been compared. Kiefer Sutherland plays Jack Bauer an anti-terrorist agent who every season has the worst day of his life. See more »

Dutton on the button
10 September 2006 | by (Connecticut) – See all my reviews

Charles Dutton guest-stars as Foreman's dad, and the two do their best to deal with Foreman's impending demise. The cop has died, and it doesn't look like House will solve this one as Cuddy declares the cop's body off limits to an autopsy. House, of course, gives it his best shot but to no avail. Dutton's presence brings with it a certain level of spirituality and calmness. Foreman admits he has lost his religion but tries to take comfort in Dad's ministrations. Will Cameron and Foreman make peace before Foreman croaks? Will House ever get to use his hammer and ice pick on the cop's brain? Will Cuddy relent? Stay tuned, Bat fans, same Bat channel. A very dark episode, with House in despair and Epps pulling out all the emotional stops, making this grown man cry big tears. House does pull one really neat trick to buy Foreman some valuable time. Watch how he does it, and marvel. By the way, House's leg is getting worse and he's doing the Holmes thing.
