The title comes from the 1928 song "Button Up Your Overcoat" written by Ray Henderson, the lyrics by B.G. DeSylva and Lew Brown. Though performed by other singers it was Helen Kane's or her alter ego Betty Boop who made it very popular which included a "Boop Boop a Doop".
