I just watched this last night. It is a very sad film to watch. I worried what will happen to Jon someday after his parents can't take care of him anymore. I would like to know what plans his family is making for his future. I felt as I was watching this film that it was too positive. There must be things that have happened with Jon concerning his disability that were not good. I would of liked to have seen those things get more discussion. Being that Jon has other siblings, I would have liked to have heard them talk about how their lives have been affected by his disability. I do believe that having Jon in the family has been an enriching experience for all involved. He has been a challenge to raise and to live with. He is an adult human being who is capable of feeling things and communicating in his own way with what is going on around him. However, being that the family has to think for him, that alone must eventually put a lot of strain on them that was never shown.

Life is More Simpler Than What You Think it is

If you feel like life has brought you down, and you have no were to turn watch this film. It will change your perception that life is here to enjoy, and nothing more. Through Jon we learn to live without worrying about the small stuff. We should not care what we can be in life, but who we can help, and love in life. There is more than what meets the eye in this film, that you will watch it again, and again. Jon is really adorable, he has a great sense of humor, and teaches us to laugh at ourselves to be happy instead of making fun of others. This is the best film ever made. Once you watch this film you can not put it down without thinking about your own life, and wondering whether your stressing way to much.
