Trivia

Originally the production crew asked Angela Lansbury to appear in this episode as the narrator of Peter's novel. She turned it down due to the nature of the episode, and Betty White was signed on instead. On the commentary of this episode Seth MacFarlane himself says "She would appear in a film called Bedknobs and Broomsticks but thinks that this episode is too pornographic!" See more »

Quotes

Peter Griffin: [to Carter] I promise, you'll love it here, even more than Julia Roberts loves herself.
[cut to Julia Roberts, standing in front of a display of candles]
Julia Roberts: Hi, I'm Julia Roberts. You know, a lot of people died in the tsunami, but don't worry, I didn't. And I'll be here to entertain you and love my life for many, many years to come. Me! ME! MEEEEEEE!
[hugs herself and laughs uncontrollably]

carol burnett and other comments
16 October 2008 | by (floirda) – See all my reviews

i think this episode does not display the right facts. if i am correct, carol burnett tugs her ear saying goodnight to her grandmother not her mom. i think her grandmother raised her.

but overall a funny episode. I loved when quagmire sings in the porn shop. "make them laugh make them laugh...giggity giggity goo. and i love how betty white is in this episode, she is awesome. its also funny when peter says "why do you keep these things together." loved it. who undresses while driving too? I loved how stewie did floor exercises and reminds that it is not gay, and then brian says it was, and he said, did you hear the announcers, its not gay. lol
