In the 1978 era, notice that the fire truck is a little to "modern" for the 70s, which is true because the fire truck is a 2001 - 2006 American LaFrance Pumper Truck. In reality the New York Fire Department used mid to late 70s Mack CF Pumpers as their apparatus in the late 70s all the way through the 80s. American LaFrance, however did not become common in New York until after the September 11th attacks when the city really needed trucks regardless of what company made them. See more »

This game is nuts
18 May 2006 | by (Australia) – See all my reviews

After such a crap job done by reflections on driver 3 with annoyances like bugs and glitches finally they have raised the bar in many areas of driver 4 and given you quite a thrill ride. In this installment there is more of a driving element than in driver 3, like there was in the first two titles so the missions are a lot more interesting, there are a lot of levels and side missions to complete with hours of game play and fun involved. The graphics have been raised and so have the physics, the damage detail is still the best by far. If you are a driver fan be sure to get this and if your not give it a go because it is one hell of a game.
