Renee Zellweger Joining Daniel Craig in ‘The Whole Truth’

Renee Zellweger is in talks to star opposite Daniel Craig in indie courtroom thriller “The Whole Truth.”

Variety first reported in late January that Craig had signed on to the project in late January, a week ahead of the Berlin Film Festival.

The Whole Truth” will be produced by Atlas Entertainment’s Richard Suckle. FilmNation is handling international rights and CAA is handling domestic rights.

Courtney Hunt (“Frozen River”) is directing from a script by Nicholas Kazan.

Craig will begin shooting the 24th James Bond film in the fall with the release set for October and November of 2015.

Zellweger’s recent credits include “My Own Love Song” and “Case 39.” She is repped by CAA and John Carrabino Management.

Dimension Picks Up 'Witches' Ballroom' From 'Crazies' Writer

In a preemptive deal, Dimension has picked up The Witches’ Ballroom, a pitch by Ray Wright, with Shawn Levy and Dan Levine of 21 Laps to produce. The logline is being kept under wraps, but Wright co-wrote the 2010 remake of The Crazies as well as horror thriller Case 39 and Pulse, so expect something creepy. "It's exciting when an original idea takes off, particularly psychological horror which is such a visceral thrill to write," said Wright in the announcement. New Horror Anthology Fear Paris Teases Directors And Concept

After movies like V/H/S and The ABCs of Death, I’m all for horror anthologies abiding by a particular theme. There’s something inherently fun about such a cornucopia of treats, as different directors populate one single film with so many distinctive styles and traits – as long as the segments set the stage for such fun. I’ll always give a horror anthology a try, from Chillerama to The Theatre Bizarre, which is why I’m happy to say we’ve got an exciting anthology coming our way with Fear Paris.

Newly announced, Fear Paris will join the likes of Joe Dante (Gremlins), Xavier Gens (Hitman/Frontier(s)), and Timo Vuorensola (Iron Sky), as they explore the horrific underworld of France’s iconic capital city. Here’s the full press release, accompanied by a tonal teaser below:
