This launched the careers of the iconic writing team of Ken Levine and David Isaacs who became better known for M*A*S*H, Cheers, Frasier, Everybody Loves Raymond, The Simpsons, Almost Perfect and many more.

Welcome back George, welcome back George

I remember watching this episode in syndication when I was younger. It has always been one of my most memorable and favorites.

The nightmare of going back where you came from is a great motivator to keep striving for the best. It reminds me of Toni's from Girlfriends "Never Going Back to Fresno Fund"

The Jeffersons is still my favorite show. It motivated me to believe in myself and know that I could accomplish anything despite race, circumstances, education level, political environment or background.
