Appealing French Short
Mozjoukine16 September 2007
Warning: Spoilers
Despite fielding a feature crew, this short film is made with modest means but manages to suggest an appealing sensitivity backed up by film know how.

The unit filming on the coast, where the director is ticked off by a house, with it's shutters rolled down spoiling his shot. He sends the girl assistant to get them raised, despite her fear of the cows in the field she must cross. When she gets there a dead black man is laid out and the house is in mourning, with the widow politely explaining that the shutters are a sign of grief. The sight starts the girl weeping. When she gets back the shutters are raised.

Good production values for a small outlay.
