This WWE PPV isn't as good as it looks on paper. The matches range from pretty good....

  • Edge vs. Cena in a TLC match for the WWE title (it is poorly timed on
occasion - Cena twice takes forever to climb the ladder as if he's waiting for Edge (and Lita) to distract him - but it has some good high spots too)

  • Randy Orton vs. Carlito (Orton is somewhat underrated, I find his
acting both inside and outside the ring quite enjoyable)

to average....

  • DX vs. the McMahons and the Big Show, Hell In A Cell (delivers the
expected brutality, but also a "ech" moment that makes you wonder why Vince seems so fascinated with the homosexual aspect of pro-wrestling)

  • Jeff Hardy vs. Nitro, for the IC title (definitely not as good as it
could have been)

  • Trish vs. Lita, for the Women's title (notable only as Trish's last
match and title win, as well as for her using fellow Canadian Bret Hart's sharpshooter hold to finish it)

to dreadful

  • Kane vs. Umaga (Umaga sucks)

  • The Spirit Squad vs. The Highlanders (the Tag Team titles are dead,
and silly gimmick teams such as these are not the way to revive them)
