Plot Summary

Paul Fellner and his wife Meret repeat their honeymoon after a near-divorce. Reverend Sebastian Manker, who runs a street kids mission, stands in for the regular ship chaplain but has doubts about the luxury aboard. Lawyer Herbert Albrecht is desperate to cure his mystery syndrome with a rare medicine, only available in Shanghai, and mistrusts his wife Helene's ambition, but she arranges to consult her ex Jaques Colli, who is chef aboard. Chief mechanic Heiner Cohrs dares not declare his love to Daniela Ebert and accidentally convinces his beloved the ship doctor is ready to propose. The captain helps unite a crew-mate's Chinese family. Written by KGF Vissers
