Here’s the new ‘Jack Reacher: Never Go Back’ trailer

4 hours ago | The Hollywood News | See recent The Hollywood News news »

There’s just a few weeks until a new Tom Cruise movie arrives in cinemas. That movie is Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, and is the second film from the hugely popular Lee Child books to make it to the silver screen.

When Army Major Susan Turner (Cobie Smulders), who heads Reacher’s old investigative unit, is arrested for Treason, Reacher will stop at nothing to prove her innocence and to uncover the truth behind a major government conspiracy involving soldiers who are being killed. Based upon Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, author Lee Child’s 18th novel in the best-selling Jack Reacher series, that has seen 100 million books sold worldwide.

Directed by Edward Zwick, the film stars Tom Cruise, Cobie Smulders, Aldis Hodge, Holt McCallany, Robert Knepper, and Patrick Heusinger.

The film arrives in cinemas from October 20th. Here’s the new promo.

Jack Reacher: Never Go Back Gets A New Trailer

6 hours ago | www.themoviebit.com | See recent TheMovieBit news »

Tom Cruise’s bad ass Jack Reacher returns to our screens in a few short weeks, and a new trailer has come our way showcasing Mr. Reacher’s most hard hitting moments from Never Go Back, and there are a lot of them. Skeptics had major trouble with Cruise taking on the role of Lee Child’s six foot something action hero, but the first movie definitely proved he had what it takes, and this latest trailer only goes to prove that further. Check it out below. Released: October 21st »

New Movie Trailers: 'Jack Reacher 2,' 'Rules Don't Apply' and 'The Space Between Us'

11 hours ago | Movies.com | See recent Movies.com news »

We have already seen previews for the following three movies, but now each has a new trailer with a different and maybe even improved marketing strategy. See if you find the upcoming releases more appealing with these fresh approaches.    Jack Reacher: Never Go Back  This second spot for the Jack Reacher sequel is actually a minute shorter than the first, and yet it feels more packed with energy and badass thrills. Tom Cruise is in fact back as the title character, and so is his penchant for punching. Leaning even more on the movie's violent action, this trailer is sure to excite anyone down with Cruise being in something you'd expect from Arnold Schwarzenegger in 1985. Jack Reacher: Never Go Back hits theaters October...

Tom Cruise Is Back In Jack Reacher: Never Go Back IMAX Trailer

15 hours ago | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

We can say a lot of nasty things about Tom Cruise, but one thing is certain: he’s one hell of an action star. He’s made the Jack Reacher franchise his own, surprising us all with the exciting action of the first film. Now, he’s back for more in the improbably named sequel, Jack Reacher: Never Go Back.

Jack Reacher: Never Go Back picks up with Major Susan Turner (Cobie Smulders), the head of Reacher’s old investigative unit, being arrested for treason. So, Reacher sets out to prove her innocent, uncovering a vast government conspiracy (of course) in the process. The film is actually based on the 18th novel of Lee Child’s long-running book series featuring Reacher, a former Major in the United States Army’s Military Police Corps (who’s also 6 foot 5, so Cruise really had to stretch for this role).

But do we really care about the plot? »

New IMAX Trailer for 'Jack Reacher: Never Go Back' with Tom Cruise

17 hours ago | firstshowing.net | See recent FirstShowing.net news »

"Who the hell are you?" "I'm the guy you didn't count on..." Paramount has unleashed an action-packed, 90-second IMAX trailer for the sequel Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, bringing back Tom Cruise as the iconic character Jack Reacher from Lee Child's books. He's joined by actress Cobie Smulders as Susan Turner, along with a cast including Robert Knepper, Aldis Hodge and Holt McCallany. We've already seen a couple of trailers for this already, and it looks like just another generic action movie, I have to say. I'm hoping that there's something more to it, but ending a trailer on a big explosion isn't really grabbing my interest anymore. I'm a fan of Tom Cruise and I hope he kicks ass in this, just not sold on all the footage yet. Jack Reacher IMAX Trailer

19 hours ago | Cinelinx | See recent Cinelinx news »

Jack Reacher Never Go Back just dropped a trailer for the IMAX release. Check it out here.

So yeah the first Jack Reacher was a great success and yes my tone might be one of one who’s eating a bit of crow over it. But the truth be told I am a fan of the book series going on twenty titles now.  Well now the sequel is coming October 21st, 2016 and it looks all kinds of exciting.

Now Jack in the books was 6 ft 5 inches tall. But honestly that unstoppable nature is still put forth by Tom Cruise. I know we’ve seen him in roles like this but Jack is almost a force of nature only with violence. And admittedly Cruise gets that. This movie is going to bring more of Jack’s past from his military days back to haunt him as he has to help the »

Tom Cruise Delivers Excitement In New IMAX Trailer For ‘Jack Reacher: Never Go Back’

21 hours ago | The Playlist | See recent The Playlist news »

I’m going to go out on a limb here, and opine that in “Jack Reacher: Never Go Back,” Jack Reacher goes back. And in doing so, he places himself into all kinds of danger, but it’s only those who dare to try and take him down that have something to worry about. For those familiar with Lee Child‘s books on which this series is based, that’s pretty much the name of the game, but Tom Cruise brings his own particular brand of stardom to the role.

Best Movies to See in October: 'Birth of a Nation,' Stooges Doc and More

October is all over the place this year, as far as movies are concerned: new installments of the Ouija, Da Vinci Code and Jack Reacher franchises; several would-be contenders for awards-season chatter; some phenomenal lower-profile releases; and Jim Jarmusch's long-in-the-making superfan doc on Iggy and the Stooges. And that's not even counting the two-and-a-half-hour Korean erotic revenge flick coming soon to a theater near you. The weirdos all come out for Halloween, so take this month to let your freak flag fly.

'Luke Cage' a new kind of superhero show that suffers from some old problems

27 September 2016 6:00 AM, PDT | Hitfix | See recent Hitfix news »

"We are witnessing a massive shift in the boundaries of possibility," a talk radio host suggests midway through the first season of Luke Cage. In that moment, the host is discussing Luke Cage the man: super-strong, bullet-proof vigilante, waging a one-man war on crime in Harlem. But she could just as easily be discussing Luke Cage the Netflix/Marvel drama that debuts Friday, and what it and predecessor Jessica Jones have tried to do with the now-ubiquitous superhero TV show. Just as Jessica Jones — the show that introduced Mike Colter as Cage, as part of Netflix's elaborate plan to introduce their own team of street-level superheroes — found new life in a very familiar genre by filtering the cliches through an explicitly feminist lens (Jessica is a rape survivor, literally and metaphorically), Luke Cage does it by placing things in an unapologetically black context. Cage's new base of operations is Harlem, »

The Hunters Become The Hunted In All-New TV Spot For Jack Reacher: Never Go Back

22 September 2016 1:55 PM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

Continuing to check off all of the bone-crunching hallmarks that make Jack Reacher the hardboiled super-spy we know and love, Paramount has today rolled out the latest in a long line of TV spots for Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, the action sequel hailing from director Ed Zwick.

Zwick, who had collaborated with Cruise before on The Last Samurai, picks up the mantle from director Christopher McQuarrie in time for Never Go Back, after the latter parted ways with the Jack Reacher series to spearhead Cruise’s other action franchise, Mission: Impossible.

Getting back to Reacher, though, a late October release date has been earmarked for Zwick’s follow-up, tapping into Lee Child’s page-turner of the same name. Shipping our title hero off to an old military base in Virginia, it’s here that Cruise’s lead is framed for a 16-year-old homicide that he didn’t commit. Fighting to clear his name, »

Tom Cruise & Cobie Smulders Deliver A Beatdown In The Latest TV Spot For Jack Reacher: Never Go Back

22 September 2016 9:35 AM, PDT | ComicBookMovie.com | See recent ComicBookMovie news »

Judging by this latest TV spot, it looks like Tom Cruise won't be the only one beating in some faces this October when Jack Reacher: Never Go Back arrives in theaters as his leading lady, Cobie Smulders, looks more than ready to deliver a couple beatdowns of her own.  On another note, with the Ed Zwick-directed Jack Reacher sequel being Cruise's only release before Universal's highly anticipated reboot of The Mummy, which is due out June 2017, is there a possibility we get our first look at that film the same week as Jack Reacher's return to the big screen? Guess we'll find out in the next few weeks, but in the meantime, check out the latest TV spot below:   You don't want to mess with Jack Reacher. Tweet #Reacher »
