Gabrielle and Carlos are surprised when their temporarily custody-awarded adoptive baby Lily's biological teenage father, quarterback Dale Helms, turns up and wants to lay claims to his infant daughter, inspired by his elder brother Frank Helm, the mother's cuckolded fiancé. The Solis want Dale to sign away his rights, but the dumb jock doesn't seem to see it their way, until a little intimidation from Gabrielle in his high-school makes him do just that. But on the other front, Edie is heartbroken after Karl breaks off their engagement, and has him followed by P.I. Oliver Weston. Susan becomes very worried that Edie might find out about hers and Karl's fling. This leads to Edie going out drinking with Susan where she gets so drunk that she attacks a waitress. When Lynette's boss, Ed, has her work late to forget his marital problems, intimate e-mails get crosses; she tries to coach his on-line love-life back to health, but it backfires badly with Tom getting blamed for their lies. Great Episode
9 April 2014 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

In this episode,we get to see the father of Gabrielle and Carlos' adopted baby show up in their home to take her daughter back. They try to settle the issue with the help of cops and lawyers.Meanwhile,Lynette helps Ed to have a better sex life.Later in the show,Karl decides end his relationship with Edie.Apparently,Karl and Susan go back into each others' arms without Edie knowing it.This prompted Edie to go to the bar to drink. Then, she gets into a fight with a waitress after she trips her. Finally,we get to see Bree help Peter overcome his addiction.

This is definitely one of the better episodes of the second season. It has a great mix of drama and comedy. We get to see Susan develop into a better person as she started to become more honest and become more open about relationships instead of hiding them. Also,we get to see a heartbreaking scenes from Gabrielle especially when her baby was taken away from her.Great acting was done by Eva Longaria. Also,we get to see Lynette's storyline become dark and interesting especially with the "assistance" she provides Ed.Also,we get to see Bree's situation with her situation somewhat become more complex especially with her relationship to her children. As for humor, the fight that Edie got into the bar will definitely elicit a lot of laughter to the viewer. Great episode!!!
