Trivia

Near the end Mildred tells Steele (Pierce Brosnan) that working with him is like being in a James Bond movie. This allusion to Bond is constantly reinforced by the soundtrack, which was deliberately scored to sound like the soundtrack of a Bond film. Brosnan would be offered the role of James Bond three years later, only to have to decline it, due to his contractual obligations to this series, but he would get a second chance to play Bond five years after that. Remington Steele: Do you realize we could be given 25,000,000 dollars as a reward for being honest?
Laura Holt: That really astounds you. Doesn't it?
Remington Steele: It heartens me Laura. It absolutely heartens me.
