Episode cast overview:
Willona Woods (as Ja'net Du Bois)
Thelma Evans Anderson (as Bern Nadette Stanis)

J.J. creates and sells the character "Dyno-Woman" to a comic book publisher (modeled after Thelma). J.J. is getting his own "pad" too. Thelma announces she's pregnant, just in time too, for her husband Keith has learned he can play pro football again because his broken leg has completely mended. He'll also be signing with a major NFL team. Neighbor Wilona gets a new higher paying job that will allow her and daughter Penny to move from the projects. Michael, already in college, decides to move out and live on campus and continue his education. Thelma and Keith will be living in a great apartment in North Chicago but insist that Florida come live with them to help care for Thelma's baby. In great co-incidence,it turns out the building they're moving into is the exact same one Wilona and Penny will also live in! Florida & Wilona laugh and cheer at this wonderful news and end the series with a hug. Written by happipuppi13

The final episode equals Good Times for all

"The End of the Rainbow" ties up all the loose ends from this sixth season for a series finale that equals Good Times for all. It's Thelma and Keith's first wedding anniversary, and Willona announces her promotion to head buyer, enabling her and Penny to move to a better apartment on Baker Street. JJ is ready to demonstrate his Dyno-Man character once again (introduced in "Florida's Favorite Passenger"), asking Bookman to drive him downtown wearing his costume: "are you kidding, I wouldn't be seen in public with you looking like that, what'll people think?" "they'll think we're Fatman and Robin!" JJ's gift to the happy couple is a trip to the Bahamas, courtesy his new job as a working comic book artist, having sold a new version of his cartoon character, rechristened Dyno-Woman, bearing Thelma's lovely face. Keith's surprise is a clean bill of health and a brand new, $60,000 free agent contract with the Chicago Bears, topped by Thelma's news, pregnant with their first child! As if that isn't enough, their new abode on the North Side, with Florida as live-in grandmother, just happens to be the same building where Willona and Penny will live on the ground floor (Michael will live on campus). After all the trials and tribulations, and the shocking demise of father James, the series deserved to end on a high note, and somehow they actually came through with flying colors.
