- Carla finds out that the new house she bought was built on top of a 17th century prison graveyard. Cliff comes over to help her spend her first night in the house.
- Because of her burgeoning family, Carla is looking to move from her apartment and buy a house. Cliff mentions to her that he has noticed a nice and quite inexpensive house in a nice neighborhood on his postal route. Although she is somewhat skeptical especially since the tip was given by Cliff, the gang talk her into at least going to take a look at it. She is enamored with the house, and quickly buys it. It is then that Norm finds out that the house was built atop an old prison grave, with legend being that the spirits in the grave will haunt any person who decides to live on that property. They are reluctant to tell superstitious Carla. They ultimately do decide to tell Carla, who balks at the idea of the house being haunted. This balking however is masking a deep seated fear of the house. They talk her into spending at least one night in the house, which should exorcise any demons living there, or at least allay any fears she might have about the house. She agrees ultimately with Cliff by her side. Can Carla and Cliff stick it out throughout the night without incident?—Huggo
- Carla is looking for a good home for her large family, but can't find anything in her price range. While on his mail route, Cliff happens to find a house listed at a good price in a prominent neighborhood. Carla is at first suspicious (this is Cliff, after all), but returns enthused, having seen and purchased the house.
However, Cliff has done further research, and has found out why the house is such a good price. Apparent, it was built over an old cemetery. Due to Diane's strong-arming, the group tells Carla, who claims she doesn't care.
Several days later, Carla admits she has not moved into the new house, afraid that it may be haunted. Sam then recommends that to help her get over her fear, she should spend the night there. Carla does so, and is soon joined by Norm and Cliff, though Norm leaves shortly afterwards when Vera wants him to come home. Carla and Cliff are left alone, but their hostile nature slowly gives way to something more positive, and they end up staying in the house overnight.
As dawn breaks, the house begins to rattle. Carla is sure the ghosts have come for them, but a sound soon causes Cliff to realize that the house is built close to an emergency runway to a nearby airport. Carla is relieved that her house isn't haunted, but is close to an airport.
