Good game

Generation Fame was a one off revival of Celebrity Generation Game hosted by Graham Norton.

The BBC has wanted to resurrect the game show for some time and shot a unbroadcast pilot with Paul O'Grady.

Generation Fame was shown over the Christmas period and featured celebrities such as Davina McCall and Rupert Grint and their parent who seemed to be game in getting involved with the activities designed so they would not be good at or be slightly embarrassed participating in such as double dutch also known as jump roping.

It was a slice of nostalgia but something about it did not feel right despite the attempts by Graham Norton to infuse some with the celebrities taking part.

The big problem with the show and the BBC have not yet found the answer to. The Generation Game is a game show format that perfectly melds with one man. That man is Bruce Forsyth.
