Goofs

While Abe Simpson is waiting 24 hours to see if he really wants to go ahead with assisted suicide, the sun and the moon move through the sky in an anticlockwise direction. Assuming that Springfield is in the northern hemisphere and above the Tropic of Cancer, the sun and moon should always go around in a clockwise direction. See more »

One of the worst episodes I've ever seen

Seriously! What were the writers thinking? Or better yet, smoking? "Oh, let's do an episode where Grandpa tries to kill himself!"

Why?

Just why?

Another thing that bothered me about this episode was the Down Syndrome joke.

No.

NO!

This is The Simpsons, you don't do that. In South Park and Family Guy, it's okay to do it, because those were intentionally offensive shows made for an adult audience.

The Simpsons can go a little too far at times, but this is just too much.

This episode was bad, I couldn't even finish it.

You know an episode is bad when it opens with Maggie babbling and subtitles appear on the screen.
