It's a cute episode but does it really matter? Maybe because I adore Shirley and Carmine seeing him and Laverne rubs me the wrong way. Although since Shirley is waiting for Her Perfect Husband cause Carmine is not, to her at least, maybe he could've been right for Laverne? But they realized they don't love each other. So I don't see the point if their romance faded, why bother. Great audience response when they kissed, the audience is my side.

I agree with the other reviewer asking if it's really necessary to go down this road. Laverne & Shirley are such good solid friends that I can't see Laverne doing this to Shirley for any reason, and especially with Carmine.
I cringed during the whole episode and couldn't wait for it to end. I won't hold it against Laverne though and will blame it on the silly writers for putting out this stinker. I'll just make believe it was a dream episode and none of it happened.
