So What Did The Parrot Really Know?
29 June 2006 | by See all my reviews

During a visit to Trinidad, the gold coins of Capt. Kidd are stolen. Who did it? the Governor? Jeremiah? The Magician? Chauncy the parrot?

Or someone else?

Once again, this episode is saved by Stanley, Henry and, with his enthusiasm, Flip Chan.

Stanley does an annoying impression of John Wayne and Jimmy Durante, causing the suspect to declare "if you stop, I'll turn myself in."

Amusing little chase scenes hold up this episode, especially Henry and Stanley's motor-bike ride. Seems they were often riding on a bike of some kind in these cartoons. I wonder why?

This cartoon never did explain where the kids' mother was to be found. Ah well.

One of three episodes (The other two are Eye of the Idol and Will The Real Charlie Chan Please Stand Up?) to not have a song in it at all.
