My second favorite episode of season 6

Next to Barwell Caper, this is my favorite episode of season 6 because Laverne and Lenny do a number written by Michael Mckean himself. And the song is catchy I listen to it over and over again. And this episode is directed by Cindy Williams, good for her. Squiggy makes me laugh. There's plenty musical numbers and I love it. I love the fun family friendly entertainment shows like this.

Ok episode

Laverne wants to sing ballad love songs but she doesn't have the voice for it and no one has the guts to let her know. Surprisingly it's Squiggy of all people who has an extended moment of clarity and lets Laverne know in a mature and constructive way.

I really liked the scene between Squiggy and Laverne in the bathroom. I've never seen him act this mature before and wish they had written him this way throughout the series.

The way he spoke to Laverne about her terrible singing was honest and helpful and without hurting her. Cindy Williams directed the episode, so I wonder if she had something to do with Squiggy's temporary change of character.

If so, it was welcome because this was a refreshing side of Squiggy to see. He was still funny, yet not acting like he was repeatedly dropped on the floor as a baby as in all the previous episodes.

Lenny was a little more "normal" acting as well over his usual juvenile ways. Hopefully this change in both characters will continue in later episodes because the juvenile acting by the two really gets old quickly. I wonder if Cindy Williams felt the same way since she directed them. If so, she made a good decision there.
