The Skipper's allergic to Gilligan
18 June 2016 | by (Youngstown,Ohio) – See all my reviews

"Allergy Time" finds the Skipper suffering from a terrible allergy, the sheer force of his sneezing and wheezing enough to knock over a palm tree! An examination by the Professor reveals no tropical diseases, a mystery that has yet to be diagnosed. Nothing belonging to the girls or the Howells get a negative reaction, but the moment Gilligan gets near the poor Skipper's in agony! After Gilligan is forced to move in with the Professor he too begins to sneeze, followed by everybody else, so it's off to the jungle to be alone. Imagine, just a photograph of Gilligan is enough to set off the Skipper! Alan Hale's tour de force performance may be his very best, the result being one of the series' funniest outings.
