It’s not often you hear about a stop motion feature-length film (Tim Burton’s upcoming Frankenweenie being the only other current one I can think of), much less an R-rated one, and by the sounds of it, Hell & Back is already shaping up very nicely.

Stand-up comedians and actors Nick Swardson and T.J. Miller will now be lending their voices for the film’s leading roles, Deadline report, in what will be,

“a comedy about two best friends who must rescue their pal when he is accidentally dragged to hell.”

The ShadowMachine film comes following the successes of Robot Chicken and Moral Orel that the production company have found with [adult swim]. Ross Schuman, who’s been a director on the latter and an art director on the former, will be co-directing alongside Tom Gianas, who’s worked in the past with the likes of Tenacious D and Cheech & Chong, and »
