There is a slight alteration to Matrix's intro starting with this episode because it's the direction the story is going in, a slightly more Passionate Matrix says that he's searching for Bob, not Mainframe, and he doesn't yell out Reboot at the end. I liked how they had Captain Capacitor and his funny crew returning to play active roles in these next couple of episodes that open the third chapter of the third season that takes the action to the much mentioned but never really before seen hazardous realm of the web. Anywho I'm glad they brought the Captain back after his first appearance in "The Crimson Binome", as he's a lot more interesting than the average silly binome. The story's about Matrix trying to enlist Capacitor's help in guiding them back to Mainframe by, after convincing the flighty pirate of who he is, helping free his ship and crew from captivity at the orders of the corrupted guardian collective. And while blasting the ship's crew to freedom, Matrix and Andraia meet a new and different kind of character in the prison by the name of Ray Tracer, a very human looking sprite who is a kind of living search engine with the power to guide programs to their destinations through the chaotic storms of the web and who has a board that he uses to 'surf' through cyberspace and which is actually an extension of himself. He's a suave chatty kind of guy, and Matrix is instantly crazy- jealous of him being around Andraia - which to me does seem rather dumb and unworthy of the character, especially after the eye-opening dream he recently experienced. It's certainly unprovoked and is something which will come into play in the next episode. Capacitor eventually gets his ship back and they all set 'sail' into the wild web with a new ally to show them the way. Also at some point the sprite that looks just like the penguin from "The Wrong Trousers" stowed away on board too. You've gotta be dead quick to spot him though! So this was actually the last episode to be shown on UK TV? Well I never saw another one beyond "World Web Wars" until I got a lot older! Um not a favourite, but good, and it gets the show moving in a new direction so yeah!! Adios me fellow Reboot fans :)
