Trivia

Eddie Murphy was nominated for two Razzie awards, as he was nominated for Worst Actor and won Worst Actor of the Decade. This marks the first Nickelodeon film to be nominated for a Razzie award, an award ceremony dishonoring the worst in motion picture industry. The second was its next film, The Last Airbender (2010). Tod: Mr. E, I talked to the lawyer guy upstairs and he confirmed my hunch, uh, about the whole stabbing of Mr. Whitefeather thing. It's a definite no can do from a legal standpoint.

Lazy but innocuous enough, I thought it was OK.

(Plot) A financial executive who's career is heading south in a hurry has to deal with his Daughter's make believe world. Little does he know that his daughter might be just what he needed

Eddie, Eddie, Eddie. You used to be such a funny comedian. Remember those days? Neither do I. This movie isn't all bad, just not up to Murphy's standards. Imagine That has a likable enough premise. It's innocuous enough for kids to probably like and tolerable for adults. Its predictability is extremely high, but it manages to be just cute enough to pass the time in a decent manner. One of the biggest compliments I can give this movie is the chemistry between Eddie Murphy & Yara Shahidi was a treat to watch with one another. Thomas Haden Church is funny as per usual, whist Martin Sheen has a brief, but classy role.

Final Thoughts: I don't remember much about this movie to be honest with you. I just remember it passing the time better than I thought, but ultimately felt slightly flat when it was all said and done.
