David Beckham and his son Brooklyn were involved in a car accident on Saturday. According to reports, the crash happened after David picked up Brooklyn from a match at the Arsenal soccer team's center in Hertfordshire, England. The father and son did not suffer serious injuries, although an eyewitness reportedly said the retired soccer star's shoulder appeared to be hurting. According to The Telegraph, the driver's side of David's Audi was damaged, and the vehicle's air bags deployed upon impact. "They were shaken," a source reportedly told the newspaper. "It was quite a heavy prang at quite a speed, but everybody walked away uninjured. Everybody's fine." People's source made a similar statement, saying, "David and Brooklyn were shaken by the accident but thankfully Ok." »

Kirk Jones To Helm "Greek Wedding" Sequel

"Nanny McPhee" and "Everybody's Fine" helmer Kirk Jones has signed on to direct "My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2" at Universal Pictures.

The story centers on another family wedding that exposes a longtime family secret and brings the Portokalos family together again.

Nia Vardalos and John Corbett will reprise their roles as Toula and Ian in the project, which Vardalos is scripting. No other cast members are confirmed.

Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson and Gary Goetzman will produce.

'My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2' Brings on 'Nanny McPhee' Director

First announced back in May, Universal Pictures has acquired domestic and some international distribution rights for My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2, with original My Big Fat Greek Wedding stars Nia Vardalos and John Corbett reprising their roles as Toula and Ian.

Kirk Jones (Nanny McPhee) has signed on to direct from a script by Nia Vardalos, which centers on another family wedding that exposes a longtime family secret and brings the Portokalos family back together again. No other cast members have been confirmed at this time.

Playtone partners Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson and Gary Goetzman are returning to produce the sequel, as they did on the original My Big Fat Greek Wedding, which grossed over $241 million domestically and $368 million worldwide, making it one of the most successful indie films of all time. No production schedule was given for the sequel.
