Storyline

A married couple check into the Navy Lodge near the Naval Amphibious Base, Little Creek, Norfolk, Virginia; when they enter their room, they find bloody human body parts slung all over the room and its furnishings; Gibbs and company investigate. Ducky says that the stuff consists of fibrous connective tissues from three different bodies, skillfully extracted by a trained medical practitioner. Gibbs and Ducky agree that the crime scene was a setup. An imbalanced former boyfriend stalks Abby, so she goes home with McGee for a night. Abby spends time on an elevator while the gang chase the clues and figure them out, Abby gains an upper hand, and they catch the bad guys. Written by DocRushing

Trivia

When Gibbs walks in to M-TAC to brief the director, he finds her coordinating an operation on a Turkish ship. That operation is fully revealed in the two part episode "Hiatus". See more »

Goofs

In one scene McGee refers to "doctors or surgeons", as though "doctors" and "surgeons" do not equate to each other. Instead surgeons comprise a subset of the set of "doctors". A surgeon is a physician (that is, a doctor of medicine) of a particular type; a surgeon is a "doctor" who practices one of the specialties of medicine. See more »

Quotes

Abby Sciuto: This is not my toothbrush.
Special Agent Timothy McGee: Then I must have bought a second one and forgot about it.
Abby Sciuto: It's a ladybug tooth brush, McGee. It's for cute girls named Gina Marie that bake cookies and wear J Lo Glow, not for a quasi-manly Federal agent who carries a gun.
Special Agent Timothy McGee: Do you want to use it or not?
Abby Sciuto: An anonymous toothbrush? I would rather remove my own tonsils with Typhoid Mary's straight razor.

background music
1 March 2007 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Sirs, For years I've tried to enjoy NCIS, but recently the background noise has been so loud it is impossible to hear the words of the performers. 'Have been forced to watch another program on my 65" big screen. 'Any possibility you might lower the music in next segments?? Ben Willis PS This noise factor may be a problem to other viewers that have a hearing problem. I have noticed that several other programs have a music back ground and they seem to be most bothersome when the action gets heated and the important words get lost. I enjoy shows such as Dateline and 60 Minutes because they don't use music back up. Please consider my complaint. bw
