- Lisa develops a crush on Nelson, due to his rebellious attitude, she tries to reform him and make him act like a gentleman, but she notices that Nelson hasn't changed his ways after she discovers that he and his friends were responsible for throwing rancid coleslaw at Skinner's house. Meanwhile, Homer finds an electronic dialer and he uses it to create a telemarketer scam in order to get more money from his friends and neighbors. Homer is soon busted by Chief Wiggum for his scam and he is forced to apologize to everyone for his illegal panhandling.—dawsonpersi
- Skinner is about to eat his lunch, when Chalmers shows him his new car, 1979 Honda Accord. Chalmers then realizes his H is missing and when they try stealing one off a Hyundai, they are caught. Meanwhile, Homer tries to sneak sweets onto a donut, but fails. Homer then sees a telemarketing scam and decides to take the dialler for himself. Back at school, Skinner searches everyone's lockers, starting with Bart's and ending with Nelson, who stole the H and a lot of other things. Everyone gets their stuff back and gets an "apology" from Nelson. Homer sets up the dialler and plays a message one by one to people of Springfield. Lisa looks out the window, laughs at Nelson and ultimately gets detention. Nelson gives Lisa the idea of using five chalks instead of one to get the job done quicker and Lisa realizes she has a crush on him. The following day, Milhouse hands Nelson a love note written by Lisa and gets beaten up. Lisa nervously goes up to Nelson and admits her feelings for him and offers for him to come round her house. Homer rushes home and receives two dollars. Bart tells Lisa she can do better. Frink tries to get the auto-dialler home, but Homer just rips off the wheels. Lisa goes round Nelson's, but the pair have different views on things. Marge picks Lisa up and tells her that it is possible to change a man and Lisa gets him a new jacket, before sitting on the top of a hillside, before the duo kiss. Unfortunately, the other bullies come and talk to them and Lisa tells them they'll be sorry, before Nelson refuses to throw coleslaw at Skinners house. The Flanders keep receiving Homers message. The other bullies slaw Skinners house, before Nelson does show up and join them, before the police arrive and they run away. Nelson runs to Lisa. As it turns out, the police are at 742 evergreen terrace to destroy the auto-dialler and Homer is issued with a court case. At the top of a look out station, Nelson accidentally tells Lisa that he was there and Lisa is angry at him for lying. Lisa leaves Nelson in a positive way and Lisa tells Milhouse that she doesn't like Nelson anymore and Milhouse jumps in the air with delight. As the credits roll, the court makes Homer apologize one by one, but still attempts to make money out of it.
