One of the best of the series.
24 November 2012 | by (Bradenton, Florida) – See all my reviews

I am not a huge fan of "Rocko's Modern Life" and mostly have watched it because my kids were watching it. However, a few of the episodes really made me laugh and are classics. Perhaps the best of these is "Wacky Delly"--a show that shocked me with how well written and funny it was. In fact, it's one of the most original cartoons I've ever seen.

Ralph Bighead (Ed's son) is a writer for a TV show, "Wacky Delly". However, he hates his job and will do just about anything to get out of making this stupid sitcom. So, he figures the best way to destroy the show is to get Rocko, Heffer and Filburt to write the show for him--as they are complete idiots. However, there is a serious problem--with these new writers, the show is a HUGE hit and it looks like the show will be on for decades. Only then does Ralph take pride in the show and he decides to write shows again--and, of course, there is a HUGE twist.

Overall, other than perhaps the first show with Earl the dog, it's the best show of the series. Clever and very, very creative.
