Plot Summary for
"Decoy" To Trap a Thief (1957)

Police officers Casey Jones and Frank Torrino pursue an armed robber and capture his female accomplice with the stolen money. When Lieutenant Bergen returns the money to the victim, the man claims that $10,000 is missing from the satchel and accuses Torrino of taking half the loot before returning the remainder to Bergen. Casey is convinced of Torrino's innocence and impersonates the accomplice in order to prove that the store owner is attempting an insurance scam and framing an innocent police officer as part of his scheme.
