PAMAHIIN is another Filipino ghost story that explores local traditions and legends. The hero of the piece is a man who has been away in the USA only to return home when his best friend is found dead. Our protagonist is of a modern mindset, but he soon finds himself inhabiting a ghostly world of clairvoyance and spirit haunting. This slow mover is nicely shot at times and has some atmospheric moments, but it's way too long-winded to work and the subject matter is resolutely tame.
