Trivia:
Principal shooting began in 1984, when Margaux Hemingway and her husband Bernard Foucher traveled to Cuba, but the project struggled to get off the ground. The documentary was finally released in 1998, after Margaux's death at the age of 41. The marriage between Hemingway and Foucher had disintegrated during the filming and it was left to Foucher to finish the film.
