"Mrs. Simpson, I'm afraid your husband is dead…April Fools'"
8 January 2009 | by (Mexico City) – See all my reviews

A clip show, certainly this could have been one of the weakest shows of Season 4 however it is really good. Meanwhile we get to the clips of older episodes we have a fantastic part. Is April Fools' Day and Homer is simply enjoying the day, Bart is certainly Homer's victim and Bart will claim for vendetta! So the consequences of Bart's vengeance: beer coming out of the chimney (like a dream for Chief Wiggum!) and Homer almost dead. Once Homer's in the hospital the clip show really begins. Is about Homer, he has brain lesions (clips- Maggie hits Homer from episode Itchy & Scratchy & Marge stand out), his brain waves are erratic (clip from the sad episode There's No Disgrace Like Home), we have some other memories (great the stuff with the clip of a Itchy & Scratchy show - "it was an amusing episode, of our lives") while we all hope for the recovering of our Homer but won't be easy until Bart's confession about his joke on April Fools' Day, then Homer is back with less brain but he's back!

This one is a very entertaining episode, certainly not a really fantastic one but for what it offers as a clip show it is quite good. Did I mention that Barney Gumble acts for a moment just like the Chief from the terrific film One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest?

"No one is interested in my underpants"
