If you know him ...
15 April 2007 | by See all my reviews

I don't really know how it came, that I went to watch this. It was at the Berlin International Film Festival and there was a movie playing after this documentary. I think the main reason was, that it was the only movie/documentary that was not sold out that day at that particular time!

My problem was, I didn't know the guy. And I don't only mean personally, but I didn't knew what he had done. It was late and the fact, that the documentary wasn't that engaging didn't help keep me from wanting to sleep. I resisted though and watched the documentary, although I can't say that it was fabulous. As interesting as he did sound (all the movies he made and his eccentric persona), it didn't sparkle. But as I said, it might be the fact, that I didn't know him, that left me unimpressed!
