fresh, at times funny ad surprising, even if it lets you down in the end
I've seen A little bit o April, which is the feature debut movie of the pretty interesting Turkish director Asli Özge - a no budget film that was shot in 10 days. There was no real script but an outline of ideas and characters and the actors (among them the screen writer Dagmar Gabler) were not told what was going to happen to them. I thought this was quite an interesting experiment and worth a try - the movie is disappointing in the end, alright, that's what I heard people comment on, but it is fresh and the three lead actors (Christian Wewerka, Thomas Gerber and Dagmar Gabler) are really worth checking out. Watch out for more by this team!
