In the Shenandoah National Park, while a ranger conducts a tour for a group of teenage kids, a boy finds a pair of military dogtags in a pile of bear scat; Gibbs and company investigate. The ranger finds what's left of the body of a Navy petty officer second-class, and the gang find evidence of a woman companion. Search parties seek the bear and the woman. Ducky says that the sailor died of a knife wound before the bear started eating the body. McGee finds a pattern in other deaths in previous years in the same park, and Abby produces the identity of the missing woman. The team pursue several leads, Ziva finds the woman alive, and Gibbs nails the killer. Written by
