Plot holes: Sheriff Underlay explained that Kira wasn't changed because of a heart defect, and the creatures don't take people with health problems. Deputy Lewis, however, was changed even though he was missing an entire arm, which was fixed during the conversion. If the creatures can recreate an entire limb, how is it they cannot or will not fix something as simple, in comparison, as a heart defect?
