The Game (TV Series 2006–2015) Poster

(2006–2015)

Trivia

The show stars one-half of two different twin actresses - Tia Mowry-Hardrict (twin sister Tamera), and Brittany Daniel (twin sister Cynthia).
Despite being one of the highest rated shows on the CW network, The Game was canceled in 2009 because the network wanted to produce hour-long dramas.
For the 2009 season, CW changed programming strategy. Due to the rising costs of production expenses, the network decided it was cheaper to produce hour-long dramas instead of half-hour comedy programming. In anticipation of the change, the producers of The Game wrote an hour-long season finale with no laugh track.
Because The Game had been off the air for two years, the first episode on BET opened with a montage that explained what happened to the characters over the hiatus.
Wendy Raquel Robinson and Hosea Chanchez are the only cast members to appear in every episode.
When The Game was picked up by BET, the network had no other half-hour comedy to pair the show with. While new episodes of The Game were being produced, BET had another half-hour long show produced called "Let's Stay Together".
The Show Was Retooled In The BET Version with a more dramatic touch.
