Storyline

Rob and Jerry, and by association Laura and Millie, aren't speaking to each other over an argument concerning Jerry and Millie's vigilante mentality of wanting to spray weed killer on a neighbor's crabgrass infested lawn without his consent, of which Rob and Laura want no part. Their argument resulted in Jerry ripping Rob's jacket. It's been two weeks since that incident happened and they haven't spoken since. Rob thinks he's extended an olive branch by sending a written invitation to the Helpers to attend a dinner party at their house. In not hearing back from Jerry and Millie, Rob thinks that he and Laura were snubbed. However Rob forgot to mail the invitation, which Mel finds almost a week after the scheduled dinner party and mails it for Rob. So when the invitation arrives at the Helper's on a Saturday with the invitation stating that the dinner party is being held this Saturday (but was actually the week prior), Jerry is steamed since he thinks Rob purposely sent the invitation ...
