Trivia

Kylie Minogue was eager to reprise her role as Charlene Robinson for the 20th Anniversary episode. However, her tight schedule in London prevented her from returning to Australia. Grundy Television wanted Kylie to appear so much that they were prepared to send a film crew anywhere in the world in order for her to film a segment as Charlene. However, Kylie's management told Grundy Television that there was no way she could take part as her schedule was too hectic. A story was then released to the press that said Kylie had been asked to appear but due to her hectic schedule, she could only film in London and that Grundy Television had denied her request to film there as her character was supposed to be in Queensland. Grundy Television were understandably annoyed at this and released a counter statement saying this wasn't the case and that they had already said to Kylie that they would be prepared to send a film crew anywhere in order for her to film a segment.
